If you have
not worn MBTs before becoming pregnant it is recommended that you wait until
after the baby is born.
If you have
previously been used to wearing MBTs prior to becoming pregnant you can
continue to do so because you will have already adapted to the changes.
Your point
of balance will change, so during the 3rd trimester you may find a
stable pair of shoes more suitable.
Swelling in
the feet can occur during pregnancy which will affect the fit of your MBTs.Discontinue wearing MBTs until after the baby
is born if this or any other discomfort occurs associated with use.
Do not use
MBTs if you are expecting twins.
If your
pregnancy is abnormal in any way MBT footwear is contraindicated.

Yes combine your orthotics with MBTs under the supervision of your podiatrist or physiotherapist. Full length orthotics can replace the MBT insole. Shorter length orthotics should be placed on top of the MBT insole.

half an hour and two hours for the first week and then gradually extend the
time until they can be comfortably worn for two hours.The time you take building up will depend on
your initial level of fitness.
